Grace
Community Church is currently without a Senior Pastor. A search team
is in place and the search process has begun. Status updates are

Brian Doherty
Brian
Doherty provides administration for our staff team and serves to communicate and
implement strategic plans and vision. His background includes years of lay
ministry in our church, having served on the Elder Board and as a leader in
short term missions. Brian and his wife Carrie have one son at home and five grandchildren.
Richard Gordon
Dick
is a former college instructor with a wide background in church ministries and
has served on previous Elder Boards at Grace. He is a graduate of Faith Seminary
in Tacoma with a Masters of Theological Studies. Dick oversees Assimilation and
First Touch service teams, works with the Communications Team and is a Small
Group Community Pastor. He has a passion for community and discipleship. Dick,
with his wife Beth, enjoys biking, kayaking, hiking and numerous other
activities. They have two grown children, four grandchildren, and live in the
Lake Tapps area.
Dan Miller
Dan
Miller serves as an associate pastor of adults. He joined the adult staff after
serving for 13 years as our middle school pastor. He is most passionate about
helping people live intentional lives for Jesus. Dan and his wife Cora have two
children. He enjoys a variety of active outdoor activities with his family and
friends, ranging from teaching his niece how to fly fish, back packing, hiking,
skiing, and hunting.
Jean Milliken
Jean Milliken's responsibilities include overseeing
women's ministries. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our staff
team, including
serving as
national director for Sonlife Women in Ministry and CBAmerica
Women in Ministry. Jean has a
passion for leadership development, outreach to the community and prayer. Jean and her husband Dan have two children
and a grandchild.
Thad Anderson
Thad Anderson is our pastor of Emerging Generations.
When not working diligently in one of his many roles
at church he enjoys Xbox and time with his wife
Anne-Marie, and their three small children.
David Odell
David Odell is our Youth Pastor.
He was a Bible/Theology and Communication major at Multnomah Bible College where he met his wife Kara.
He is a gifted speaker and teacher and has a unique ability to connect with students of all ages.
David enjoys any outdoor activities, especially training and hunting with his Golden retriever, Molly.
(He also hasn't lost a ping-pong match in over two years...)
Mark Buck

Mark Buck provides leadership
for Small Groups at Grace as we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ and
help others to do the same. Mark is passionate about developing leaders and
creating relational environments where people can intentionally grow in
their love for God and for other people. Having served in many capacities
at Grace, he loves helping ordinary folks develop their gifts and passions
as they experience the extraordinary life that Christ offers. Mark, and his
wife Kathy, have two wonderful grown children, a son and a daughter, and a
tremendous son-in-law. Mark has been a fire fighter for almost 25 years and
enjoys flying, the outdoors, fly fishing, and naps.
Todd Dixon
Todd
Dixon is our Pastor of Worship and Arts. He has been a working musician for
the past 20 years and a music pastor for 12. He loves all styles of music,
ranging from that of Bach to Allison Krauss to Switchfoot. Todd is
passionate about encouraging people to engage in a lifestyle of authentic
worship of Jesus Christ. He and his wife Sam have two great kids, two
mutts, and a fish. The Dixons are avid Angels and Lakers fans, but pull for
the Mariners and Sonics too.
Kristi Fawver
Kristi
Fawver is our Children’s Ministry Director. She has been on staff at Grace
working with kids and their families since 1998. Kristi is passionate about
seeing kids come to know Jesus and grow in their walk with Him. She and her
husband Rick are very busy raising their three kids and two dogs. Kristi
really loves hanging out with her family and shopping, but not necessarily
at the same time.
