An exciting basketball league!

Why: Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is our children’s sports program.  In Upward, we strive to offer kids a fun, safe place to build character, learn sportsmanship, and develop basketball and cheerleading skills.  Upward is different from many youth leagues because of its emphasis on Christian discipleship, equal playing time for all players, and fair, balanced teams with the goal of making every child a winner.  The season runs from January to mid-March and is open to boys and girls in first through sixth grade.  Each team has one practice a week and a game on Friday or Saturday.   Registration begins in September and fills up quickly, so sign up early! 

EVALUATIONS AND SIGN-UPS:

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading sign-ups. They will take place at the Grace Community Church as follows:

1st and 2nd Grade Boys Basketball

Monday, November 10, between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

1st and 2nd Grade Girls Basketball

Monday, November 10, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

3rd Grade Boys Basketball

Thursday, November 13, between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

4th Grade Boys Basketball

Thursday, November 13, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

3rd and 4th Grade Girls Basketball

Thursday, November 13, between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

5th and 6th Grade Boys

Tuesday, November 11, between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

5th and 6th Grade Girls
