In 2002, after shipping four containers through a Northwest based medical relief agency, Mike and Anne and a group of colleagues started a Washington based nonprofit medical relief and development agency which focuses on North Africa. It continues to ship many containers through a distribution network of public hospitals and charitable health care associations.
