School Supplies Needed!

Please bring new school supplies to the church so we can help the children and families in our community who cannot afford to purchase these much needed supplies for the upcoming school year. We will be donating the supplies to families from local elementary schools as well as those in our Hispanic Church. You can place supplies in the red bins in the foyer at GCC.

Pioneer School
Seven blocks south of our church is a place to love kids and encourage teachers. There are many ways to be involved.

Habitat for Humanity
Constructing homes for needy families. Crews need help at various times and in several locations in King and Pierce County during the year. They train you.

Layette Basket Ministry
Many expectant women in our community lack the resources to adequately provide for their babies.  We want to help.  As an expression of God’s love, we are compiling layette baskets, which we will give to those in need.  We invite you to share in this ministry by sewing a quilt, buying new or nearly new infant clothing, picking up disposable diapers on sale, or contributing any of the items listed below.   If you have questions, please contact Debra Jones (253-862-0227) or Gwen Waller (253-891-8039).

Grace Quilters/Community Quilts
Those who love to quilt, creating quilts for our community. Currently the quilts are given to those battling cancer.

Moms In Touch
Moms consistently praying for children and their teachers and schools.

Grace Homeschoolers
A group of homeschool moms that meet every 3rd Thursday of the month to pray for their children as well as discuss homeschool related topics. This group always welcomes new ladies to join. For more information contact Brenda Thorn at 253-735-1282.
